COLLEGE CAREER: Averaged 6.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocked shots in 92 career games (36 starts) in three seasons at Duke University… Finished with a career field goal percentage of .506 (205-405 FG)… Finished with 129 career blocks, seventh best in Duke history in three seasons... Part of two ACC Championship teams (2003, 2005) and one Final Four squad (2004)... In final season at Duke, averaged 4.4 points and 4.3 rebounds in 29 games (18.9 mpg)… Sat out four games after being diagnosed with mononucleosis, and slowly worked his way back into the rotation… As a sophomore (2003-04), posted the 10th best single-season block total in school history with 61 blocked shots... Ranked third in the ACC with 1.65 blocked shots per game... Had successful surgery on his left hip to correct a labral tear and bone spur in May of 2003... Part of a freshman class that averaged 33.6 points per game, the sixth-highest figure by a rookie class in ACC history...
