Philadelphia 76ers Roster Report 2009-02-04

Philadelphia 76ers Roster Report 2009-02-04
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Andre Miller, Shooting guard Willie Green, Small forward Andre Iguodala, Power forward Thaddeus Young, Center Samuel Dalembert. Bench -- Guard Lou Williams, Forward Elton Brand, Guard Royal Ivey, Forward Reggie Evans, Forward/Center Marreese Speights.

PLAYER NOTES:

--F Elton Brand didn't play in the second half Tuesday against Boston after getting nine minutes off the bench in the first half. Brand, in his sixth game back after he sat out five weeks with a dislocated right shoulder, said he had trouble getting his shoulder loose and was going to see the team's physicians Wednesday.

--G Andre Miller's 19 points led the Sixers in the crushing loss to New Jersey. It marked the first time a Sixer didn't score 20 in 16 games. Andre Iguodala (22) and Miller (21) gave the Sixers a pair of 20-point scorers again versus the Celtics.

--F/C Marreese Speights played more fourth-quarter minutes (9:27) than any of the Sixers' big men in the loss to the Nets in which the Sixers scored eight points in the final period. He led the team with four points in the quarter. He followed that up with a six-point final period on two dunks and an inside bucket versus Boston.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--F/C Jason Smith (torn left ACL) is out for the season.
