Philadelphia 76ers Roster Report 2009-11-01

Philadelphia 76ers Roster Report 2009-11-01ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Lou Williams, Shooting guard Andre Iguodala, Small forward Thaddeus Young, Power forward Elton Brand, Center Samuel Dalembert. Bench -- Guard Royal Ivey, Forward Jason Kapono, Forward/Center Marreese Speights, Guard Rodney Carney, Guard Willie Green, Forward/Center Jason Smith, Guard Jrue Holiday.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G/F Andre Iguodala, who was one of four NBA players to average 18 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists last season (along with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul), is again filling up the stat sheet. He has 59 points, 25 rebounds, 20 assists and six steals in the first three games of 2009-10. He had 18 on 8-for-10 shooting in the first half Saturday for a plus-minus total of plus-25 at the break vs. the Knicks.

--F Jason Kapono, acquired in an offseason trade with the Raptors, is providing the Sixers with the perimeter shooting they desperately need. He has hit five of 10 3-pointers in the first three games.

--F Thaddeus Young is averaging 15.3 points and 3.7 rebounds while shooting 17-for-33 this year. He's back starting at small forward after spending much of the previous two seasons out of position at the "four" spot.
