--Team president Ed Stefanski said he's willing to listen to all of his players, but stopped short of seconding G/F Andre Iguodala's statement that Iguodala is "going to sit down with Ed and discuss what I think will (get us to the next level)."
"I'll take input, but I'll make the final decisions," Stefanski said. --Fans were booing the team by the third quarter of the 25-point home loss to the Magic in Game 6. C Samuel Dalembert was one of their primary targets.
"It's not the first time I've been booed," Dalembert said. "I can get booed in the first quarter and turn it around and hear cheers in the second quarter. It's what it is. At some point when you start winning, everybody's happy."
--The Sixers' half-court offense remains a liability. When they cannot get out in transition, they have to work extremely hard to get shots and rarely wind up with easy baskets. And that's with a point guard (Andre Miller) who excels at finding guys for layups. The lack of outside shooters remains the biggest reason this keeps happening.
--Head coach Tony DiLeo took exception to C Theo Ratliff saying DiLeo needs to "hold the players accountable" after the Game 6 114-89 loss to undermanned Orlando.
"I saw his comments," DiLeo said. "I don't agree with his comments. We do hold players accountable -- maybe not in the way of his definition of accountability, but we do correct players, we point out things. I'm not the type of coach that I'm going to yank a player out of the game after one mistake."
QUOTE TO NOTE: "I think (we lack) that toughness, especially in the playoffs. Defensively, being strong, and definitely a shooter." -- G/F Andre Iguodala, on what the Sixers are missing.
