--The loss to Phoenix dropped the Sixers to 0-3 when their opponent shoots .500 or better. The Suns, who ended an Eastern swing with a 4-1 record, shot .532 from the floor. --Sixers coach Eddie Jordan began the second half of Sunday's road loss to the Pistons with starting C Samuel Dalembert on the bench and second-year F/C Marreese Speights in the game. Jordan said he liked what Speights had done in the second quarter and was hoping that would continue. "I thought Samuel could have some success coming off the bench," Jordan said. "The starting lineup starts at the jump ball -- anything can happen after that. If you see things that you should change at the quarter, then you should do it."
Speights was the only Sixer to play the full fourth quarter Monday vs. the Pistons, when he scored 11 of his 20 points.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "We played better than we have the last three games, but it's a loss. We should've had it." -- G/F Andre Iguodala, after the Sixers were outscored by 16 (65-49) in the second half of a 119-115 home loss to the Suns.
