Iguodala leads Sixers past Pistons
PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Andre Iguodala scored 25 points, hitting a season-high four 3-pointers, and the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Detroit Pistons 101-94 on Wednesday night.

Samuel Dalembert added 20 points and 13 rebounds for Philadelphia, Willie Green scored 15 and Lou Williams had 12 points and 7 assists off the bench. Iguodala also had six assists, five rebounds and five steals.

The victory kept the Sixers in the sixth playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, a game ahead of Toronto and a game behind Washington. The Raptors and Wizards both also won Wednesday night.

Chauncey Billups had 18 points to lead Detroit, which already has locked up the No. 2 seed in the East and again gave its reserves significant playing time. Juan Dixon added 13 points, and Rodney Stuckey had 10.

In a game that featured sporadic defense, the Sixers made eight straight field goals in one second-quarter stretch, shot 65.7 in the first 24 minutes and led 58-52 at halftime.

The Sixers led by eight after the third quarter and pulled away in the fourth. Jason Smith, who had eight points on 4-for-6 shooting, hustled for an offense rebound and made a nice save to set up a 3-pointer by Iguodala that gave the Sixers their largest lead of the night, 88-74.

Walter Herrmann hit a 3 to cap a 14-5 run and pull the Pistons within five with 3:31 left, but the Sixers sealed it with a pair of alley-oop dunks by Iguodala and Dalembert.

Notes: Sixers coach Maurice Cheeks missed the fourth quarter after leaving with flu-like symptoms. Pistons guard Richard Hamilton (hip) missed his fifth straight game. The Sixers avoided their third straight home loss. Iguodala's previous season high for 3-pointers was three (twice).
